<p>The objective of this study was to ascertain the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards the special education and inclusive education curricula, to ensure that precautions are taken against unfavorable attitudes that may arise in their future professional lives, and to contribute to the literature by offering suggestions regarding inclusive practices in schools. This research, conducted using a quantitative method with a survey design, employed a simple random sampling method for selecting participants. In the 2023-2024 academic year, 140 teacher candidates voluntarily participated in the study. Data collection was carried out using a Google form. Various findings were obtained through statistical analyses performed using the SPSS 25 software package. The following findings were reached in the study: It was found that the attitudes of teacher candidates from different disciplines within the faculty of education towards special education courses significantly differed in favor of female candidates due to various sociological, psychological, cultural, and economic factors, as well as the influence of emotional intelligence and other variables. Other results indicated that the attitudes of teacher candidates towards special education courses did not significantly differ based on their grade levels. Additionally, there were similarities in the attitudes of teacher candidates towards special education courses regardless of whether they had a family member with special needs. Furthermore, it was found that attitudes towards special education courses did not vary significantly across different departments.</p></trans-abstract>
