Abstract

Year 2024, Volume: 14 Issue: 3, 1764 - 1779, 27.09.2024

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of educational research involving twice-exceptional students and studies conducted in the psychology category. The analysis is based on the Web of Science (WoS) database, considered one of the most reliable databases. In this context, bibliometric analysis examines the years of research, citation counts, most prolific authors, influential journals, countries, institutions, author-level and country-level collaborations, and keywords related to research on twice-exceptional children in the field of education. A descriptive scanning model was employed in the study. According to the analysis conducted using VoSviewer software, the United States is identified as the country with the highest number of publications in this field, the journal Gifted Child Quarterly has the highest number of publications, and Assouline S.G is the most prolific author with the highest citation count. Emerging trends related to the topic are discussed.
