In recent years, there is an importantincreasing in child delinquency in USA. This situation, brought the idea oftaking rigid measures to this problem but the main purpose of these measuresare to recupation of the child to the society. This view led to apply differentintervention methods related to the treatment of the child in USA. Thesemethods are biological interventions, cognitive-behavioral approaches,multi-systemic therapy.

Son yıllarda ABD’de çocuk suçluluğunda önemli artışlar olmuştur. Budurum son zamanlarda daha sert önlemlerin alınması düşüncesini beraberindegetirmiş olsa da temelde çocuğun topluma yeniden kazandırılması çerçevesindeçeşitli müdahale yaklaşımlarının uygulanmasını sağlamıştır. Bu çalışma ABD’deçocukların treatmanındaki müdahale yaklaşımlarını ele almıştır. Bu yaklaşımlar;biyolojik müdahaleler, bilişsel davranışsal yaklaşımlar, çok sistemli(multi-systemic) terapi olarak üç başlık altında toplanmıştır.
