Poverty is animportant social problem which affects child welfare negatively. Child povertyis examined in the context of children’s rights of life, health and nutrition,by means of a research which was applied to the mothers who receive social aidfrom Keçiören Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation. Social work practiceagainst child poverty is discussed. 

Yoksulluk, çocukrefahını olumsuz yönde etkileyen önemli bir toplumsal sorundur. Çocukyoksulluğu, Keçiören Sosyal Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Vakfı’ndan sosyal yardımalan annelerle yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda, çocukhaklarının önemli bir boyutu olan yaşama, sağlık ve beslenme hakları üzerindenincelenmektedir. Çocuk yoksulluğu ile mücadeleye yönelik sosyal hizmetuygulaması önerileri tartışılmaktadır.
