Abstract

Planlı bir gebelik sonucu çocuğun dünyaya gelme süreci içerdiği güzel duyguların yanında, gebeliğin istenilen gibi devam etmemesi, bebeğin veya annenin sağlıkları ve yaşamları ilgili riskler, doğumla ilgili riskler, istenmeyen gebelikler, düşük, ölü doğum ve buna benzer olası zorluklar güzel duyguların yerini kaygı, endişe, stres gibi olumsuz duygulara bırakabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, her bebeğin ve her aile üyesinin yeterli şefkatli bakım ile desteklenmesi ve potansiyellerinin en üst düzeye çıkartılması amacı ile çalışan, gebelik öncesinden başlayarak bebek bir yaşına gelinceye kadar anneye, aileye ve topluma yönelik psiko-sosyal destek sağlayan perinatal sosyal hizmet uzmanlığının tanıtımının yapılması ve bu uzmanlık türünün ülkemizde aktif hale getirilebilmesi adına öneriler sunulmasıdır.
