Abstract

Bu kitap, editörler tarafından önsözde de belirtildiği gibi, esasında CNRS'e bağlı olarak İslâm ülkelerindeki tasavvuf hareketleri ve tarikatların araştırılmasına yönelik, bir kısmı Alexandre Popovic ve ekibi tarafından 1980'li yıllarda değişik Avrupa şehirlerinde düzenlenen bir dizi milletlerarası kollokyumdan beşincisi olup, Haziran 1987'de İstanbul'da Melâmilik-Bayrâmîlik üzerine yapılan toplantının bildirilerinden oluşmaktadır.
