Arşivcilerin belge muhafazası ve belgelerin araştırmacılara ulaştırılması görevlerinin yanı sıra, tarih öğretimine katkı sağlamaya yönelik eğitimci rolleri de vardır. Hazırlanan sergiler ve kataloglar, müzecilik faaliyetleri gibi kültürel işlevlerin yanı sıra arşivler hazırladıkları eğitim içerikleri ve çeşitli konulardaki atölye çalışmaları ile eğitim alanındaki işlevlerini yerine getirirler. Ülkemizde Devlet Arşivleri Başkanlığı bünyesinde kurulmuş olan Hazine-i Evrak Daimi Sergi Alanı arşivlerin hem kültürel hem de eğitsel işlevlerinin bir arada yürütüldüğü mekânlardan biridir. Bu çalışmada kuruluşundan beri 30 bine yakın öğrencinin ziyaret ettiği sergi alanından kısaca bahsedilecek ardından Daimi Sergi Alanını ziyaret eden öğrencilerin Sergi Alanına ilişkin görüşlerine yer verilecektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve grup görüşmesi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin sergi alanını beğendiği, sergi alanındaki görsellerden etkilendiği, tarih derslerinde işlenen konular hakkındaki belgelere daha çok ilgi gösterdiği ve tarih derslerinde belge kullanılmasını istediği tespit edilmiştir.
Archives have educational roles as well as their main roles in storing, preserving, and presenting archival materials. The Hazine-i Evrak Exhibition Hall, which is functioning as a historical museum established under the Presidency of the State Archives in the Republic of Turkey, is one of the places where both cultural and educational functions of the archives are carried out together. In this study, the exhibition hall, which has been visited by nearly thirty thousand students since its foundation, will be briefly mentioned and opinions of the students visiting the exhibition hall will be presented. This study is a qualitative study that semi-structured interview form and group interviews were used as data collection tools. As a result of this study, it was found that students were satisfied with the exhibition hall, influenced by the visuals, showed more interest in the documents about the subjects covered in history lessons, and wanted to use such documents in history classes.

As of May 2024, TUHED will follow APA 7 (American Psychological Association) style for referencing and citation. For more information, please refer to the TUHED template and writting guidelines.
2- Early Release:
According to the TUHED's new publication policy, the articles which have completed the evaluation process will be published online-first. It will no longer be necessary for manuscripts to wait until the “next issue”. Early Release articles will receive an international identification code (DOI), and identified page numbers.
3- Ethics Committee Approval:
In accordance with the ULAKBİM decision of 25 February 2020, Ethics Committee Approval must be obtained for studies on people (without age restrictions), this approval must be specified in the Method section of the article and signed Ethics Committee Approval must be uploaded to the system. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for publication.
4- New Publication Policy
Beginning from Spring 2021 issue TUHED will require all Turkish manuscripts to contain a full-text English translation. Manuscripts submitted in Turkish will be requested to have full-text English translation if they are accepted for publication after the review process.
