"Trakya University Journal of Engineering Sciences" is a peer-reviewed international journal.

All articles submitted to the "Trakya University Journal of Engineering Sciences" must be original. Within the framework of scientific ethical rules, all articles submitted to the journal in order to protect the author and fulfill the responsibilities of the journal are checked by the "Secretariat" for their originality by putting them into the Web-based iThenticate (Plagiarism) program.

In addition to the numerical data in the plagiarism program report, the ethical rules to be observed in citations are examined and the final decision is made on whether the article should continue to be examined in the journal.

The "Secretariat" also examines whether the study was written in accordance with the spelling rules determined by the journal. Studies that are not written in accordance with the journal rules may be rejected without entering the "Editorial process".

A strict double-blind peer-review process is applied in the evaluation.

The work, which is approved to comply with the scientific ethical rules and the writing rules determined by the journal, is also evaluated by the "Chief Editor" within 2 days at the latest and it is checked whether it contains scientific content. The "Chief Editor" assigns a "Chapter Editor" to the work that is approved to have scientific content. The "Chapter Editor" sends a request to at least two referees on the subject of the study to evaluate the article. The referees are obliged to respond to this request in the form of acceptance or rejection within a maximum of 5 days. For the referees who do not respond or give a rejection answer, the section editor appoints the referee again. The referees who accept to evaluate the study within a maximum of 20 days and express their opinions about the publication, correction, or rejection of the study to the "Section Editor". The "Section editor" makes its decision in line with the referee's recommendations and notifies the author of this decision.
