Fıkıh usûlü şer’i delillerden hüküm çıkarma metotlarını konu edinen müstakil bir ilim alanıdır. Istılâhî olarak dini meselelerin bağlayıcılığını konu edinen delillere genel bir bakışı ve bu delillerden hüküm çıkarmak için takip edilecek yöntemleri konu edinmektedir. Bu tarifin sonucunda ana kaynak olan Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in anlaşılmasına duyulan ihtiyaç, fıkıh usûlü ilmini kıymetli bir konuma yükseltmiştir. Çalışmada Râzî’nin, fıkıh usûlü anlayışı ve istidlâl metodu tefsîri özelinde ele alınacaktır. Râzî’nin usûl alanında kaleme aldığı eserler, ilmî hayatının başlangıç dönemlerini kapsamakta, tefsîr çalışmaları ise kapsamlı bir dönemi teşkil etmektedir. Bu ilmî kronoloji, usûl anlayışının tefsîrinde bariz bir şekilde gözlemlenmesine vesile olmakta ve takip ettiği usûl geleneğini de göstermektedir. Ancak tefsîri kapsamlı bir şekilde incelendiğinde, usûl anlayışı hakkında bir tanımlamanın yapılmadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Bu yön tefsîr ve fıkıh usûlü alanında kaleme aldığı eserlerin detaylı okunmasına ve usûl anlayışının metnin bütünü içerisinden tespit edilmesine sevk etmiştir. Bu okumalar neticesinde, meselenin kapsamlı bir şekilde anlaşılması, ileri sürülen görüş ve delillerin değerlendirilmesi ve ilgili meselenin ispatı sadedinde üç temeli olan bir usûl anlayışı tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen bu anlayışın ana başlıkları, tefsîri içerisindeki kullanımlarına uygun olmakla birlikte oluşturulan alt başlıkların genel çoğunluğu bu çalışmada üretilmiş özgün başlıklardır. Bu alt başlıklar tefsîrin genelinin gözden geçirilmesi ile elde edilmiş ve anlamsal karşılıklarına uygun olarak tasnif edilmiştir.
Usûl al-figh is an independent field of knowledge that deals with the methods of deriving rulings from Islamic legal sources. Terminologically, it provides a genaral perspective on the evidences can cerning the binding nature of religious matters and examines the methodologies to be follwed in extracting rulings from these evidences. Asa primary source, the science of usûl al-figh. This study examines al-Râzî’s understanding of usûl al-figh and his method of inference specifically within the context of his tefsîr. While his Works in usûl reflect the early stages of his scholarly life, his tafsîr studies span a much broader period. This scholarly chronology allows for a clear absurvation of his methodological approach within his tafsîr and reveals the tradition he follows. However, a comprehensive examination of his tafsîr shows that his methodology in usûl is not explicitly defined. This has led toa close reading of his Works in both tafsîr and usûl, aiming to determine his medhodological stace from the entirety of his texts. As a result of these reading, a three-part methodological approach was idedified, covering the comprehensive understanding of an issue, the evaluation of presented views and evidences, and the prof of the matter in gvestion. The main headings of thes identified approach alingn with their usage in the tafsîr, while most of the subheadings are original titles producede in tihis study. These subheadigs were derived by reiewing the tafsîr as a whole and were classified aecording to their semantic correspondences.
