The Turkish Journal of Analytical Chemistry is committed to the highest standards of editorial independence, transparency, and ethical publishing practices.
The publisher of the journal, Miraç Ocak, previously served as an editor for some articles; however, he does not currently hold any editorial position. In order to preserve the impartiality and integrity of the peer-review process, our journal implements clear and strict policies to prevent potential conflicts of interest.
In accordance with the journal’s editorial policy:
The publisher does not take part in the editorial handling, peer review, or decision-making for any manuscript in which he is an author.
The same policy applies to the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts authored by the Editor-in-Chief are handled exclusively by independent editors.
Submissions authored by members of the editorial board are assigned to external or independent editors, and all editorial decisions are based solely on anonymous external peer review.
These measures ensure a clear separation between editorial responsibilities and authorship, safeguard the objectivity of editorial decisions, and uphold the academic integrity and credibility of the journal.
