BASRA’DA KATAR AÇMAZI

Abstract

Suudi Arabistan ve
Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri öncülüğünde 2017 Haziran ayında Orta Doğu bölgesinde
yaşanan krizin üzerinden yaklaşık bir buçuk yıl geçmesine rağmen kriz hala
devam etmektedir. Yaşanan krizin, bölge ülkeleri, Katar ve uluslararası
ilişkiler literatürü açısından önemli sonuçları olmuştur. Körfezin parlayan
ülkesi Katar’ın sahip olduğu doğal kaynaklar ve şu anki konjonktür bu krize
dayanabilmesini sağlamış diğer yandan kriz Katar’ın eksiklerini daha ciddi
şekilde görmesini sağlayarak dününden ders çıkarabilmesini sağlamıştır. Diğer
yandan ise Katar’a ciddi baskı uygulayan anti-Katar bloğu ülkelerinin de bu
krizden kendilerinin de zarar gördüğü ortaya çıkmıştır. Katar’ın jeopolitik
konumu sebebiyle, bu açmazı nihayete erdirse bile bölgede sürekli sorun yaşama
ihtimali mevcut olacağından ötürü, özellikle çıkar tanımlamalarını dikkatli
hesaplamalar ile yaparak, olası krizlerde uygulamaya konulabilecek acil eylem
planları oluşturması, bölge dışı ülkelerle müttefiklik kurmak veya anlaşmalar
yapmak yoluyla, ticari yatırımlara giderek karşılıklı bağımlılık oluşturma
yoluyla “incinebilirliğini” azaltması hayati görünmektedir.

Dergimizin; Uluslararası İlişkiler, Diplomasi, Ekonomi, Temel Bilimler ve Sosyal Bilimlerin, siyaset, ekonomi, ekonomi-politik, diplomasi uygulamaları, siyasi tarih, uluslararası antlaşmalar, uluslararası örgütler, hukuk, uluslararası hukuk gibi alanları ile alakalı olarak bilim dünyasına önemli katkı yapması beklenmektedir.
