• All articles undergo evaluation by two anonymous reviewers. If necessary, the article may be sent to a third reviewer for further assessment. The publication of an article depends upon the approval of these reviewers. Authors must provide the necessary corrections demanded by reviewers.
• In general, any submitted work should provide the following formatting conditions.
• Articles must be between 5,000 and 8,000 words.
• They should be written in MS Word Processor in normal margins and Times New Roman, 10-pt, space 1.5 lines, aligned left.
• Tables, figures, pictures, and graphs should fit the journal page. If needed, they may be written in a smaller font size and their text may be single spaced.
• Tables and graphs should be numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Place footnotes to tables below the table body and indicate them with superscript lowercase letters. Avoid vertical rules. Be sparing in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in tables does not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article.
• If article is written by two or more authors, one author must be defined as the corresponding author. The corresponding author’s name, mailing address, work/mobile phone number(s), and e-mail address must be included on the first page.
Title Rules
Primary titles are centered and bold. The beginning of the words should be formatted in capital letters and other letters in lowercase. Ex: Primary Title Layout
The secondary title should be left of the line and bold. The beginning of the words should be formatted in capital letters and other letters in lowercase.
Third heading should be indented at the beginning of the line and bold. The first letter of the title should be capital, other words should be lowercase.
Number should be used in the title. (Example: 1. Primary Title Layout; 1.1. Secondary Title; 1.1.1. Third Title Layout)

Page layout
In the first paragraph after the title, no carriage return should be made, other paragraphs should be formatted with a carriage return.
The copy sent to the journal should not contain any information about the author.
• For articles in Turkish:
• The Turkish abstract must have a title, be 150-200 words long, and have 3-7 keywords.
• The article must also provide an English abstract that is 150-200 words long and have 5-8 keywords in English.
• For articles in English:
• The English abstract must have a title, be 150-200 words long, and have 3-7 keywords.
• The article must also provide a Turkish abstract that is 150-200 words long and have 5-8 keywords in Turkish.
Types of Manuscripts
➢ 1. Original Article
It should consists of “Introduction”, “Methods”, “Results” and “Discussion”. The conclusion may be written as a last paragraph of discussion, there is no need to add a separate section for conclusion. The whole length of text should be maximum 5 000 words (except abstract, acknowledgements and references). The numbers of references should be maximum 50. Also, scientific names should be spelled in italics throughout the text.
➢ 2. Systematic Review
It is included in the research article. It is formed by scanning the studies published in the related field in a systematic and comprehensive manner, determining which studies will be included in the review within the framework of various objective acceptance and rejection criteria and synthesizing the information in the relevant subject. Authors should use standard checklists for systematic review and meta-analysis when submitting their drafts, indicating that they comply with the PRISMA (http://www.prisma-statement.org/) statement. . It should be up-to-date to include the latest medical literature. It is preferable that the author has published articles on that subject.
➢ 3. Metanalysis
A type of statistical literature developed by combining the findings of at least two studies to show the effect of a particular situation with a single estimator. By combining the findings of multiple studies, the validity and reliability of the results will be strengthened.
➢ 4. Invited Review
The journal sends invitations to the selected authors who have extensive experience and publications on the review subjects to write reviews that will guide future studies.
Journal attaches the importance that the authors of reviews must be a scientific authority for the topic of the manuscript, they must document their relevant own experience for the area by listing their own publications in the cover letter. Manuscript submissions that fail to list relevant own publications in the cover letter will be returned to authors.
The word count of the whole text must be 6,000 words maximum except for abstract and references with a page number upper limit of 20. The abstract should be as one paragraph and written without a section. The numbers of references should be maximum 100.
➢ 5. Case Report
The word count must be 1,500 words maximum excluding abstract, acknowledgement and references. Case reports should consist of abstract, keywords, introduction, case report and discussion sections. The number of references and pages should be limited to 10. Figures or Tables should follow the main text in separate pages.
➢ 6. Letter to Editor
It should consist of 1 000 words maximum except for abstract and references. One tables or figures are included. If it is written referring to another article, the number and the date should also be added. The name(s), affiliation(s) and address(es) of author(s) should appear at the end of the text. The number of references and pages should be limited to five.
➢7. Book Reviews
Book Reviews is an article in which the contents of the books published in the last 5 years are evaluated and introduced.
The total length of the article should not exceed 2500-5000 words. Additional information (drawings, charts, film datasets) may be published at the discretion of the editor and referees (50 Mb of additional data per article).
It should consist of "Introduction", "Subheadings" respectively.
• All figure’s must have captions and be supplied as a separate file in a suitable format (e.g., .jpg, .pdf, or .png), at a proper resolution and size for printing.
• All tables must include a title, description, and any necessary footnotes.
• Manuscripts should be checked for spelling and grammar.
• All references should be in the correct format (APA 6th edition)
• All references mentioned in the text must be in the reference list and vice versa.
