Martin Buber 1878 yılından 1965 yılına kadar süren yaşamı boyunca, birçok alanda birbiri ile tutar-lı düşünceler ortaya koymuştur. Modern dünyanın insanı nesneleştirmesini ve nesnelere esir dü-şürmesini eleştirmiştir. İnsan var oluşunu parçalayan, gerçekliğin kavranmasını sınırlayan bu görüş-ten insanı kurtaracak olanın diyalojik ilişki olduğunu “I and Thou” adlı eserinde vurgulamıştır. Ben-sen temel kelimesine dayalı bir ilişkinin, eğitimden dine bütün alanlarda insanı tecrübe dünyasın-dan kurtarıp ilişki dünyasını kurarak, diyalektik ilişkinin insanı düşürdüğü açmaza çözüm getirece-ğini öne sürmüştür. Freire de modern dünyanın, bankacı eğitim modeliyle insanı ezen-ezilen ilişki-sine hapsettiğini vurgulamıştır. Ezen-ezilen ilişkisinin getirdiği kutuplaşma insanları diyalektik bir ilişki içine sokmakta, nesneleştirilen insan dünyanın gerçekliğine iştirak edememektedir. Freire de Buber gibi bu sorunun çözümünü, ezilenlerin özgürleşerek ezenlerle aralarında diyalojik bir ilişki kurmasında bulmuştur. Bu çalışmada Freire ve Buber' in düşüncesinde paralellik gösteren, modern insanın gerçek ilişki kurmasında tek yol olan diyalektik ilişkinin yerini diyalojik ilişkiye bırakması gerektiği düşüncesi işlenmiştir.
For his life, from 1878 to 1965, Martin Buber has revealed consistent ideas in many areas. He criti-cized the modern world objectifying human beings and captivity of objects. He emphasized in his work "I and Thou" that the thing that will save fellow from this view that breaks human existence and limits the perception of reality is the dialogic connection. He defends a relation that is base on the Me-You notion, will bring a solution to the dilemma that the dialectical relationship has brought down to human by saving the human being from the world of experience and establishing the world of relationships in all fields from education . Also, Freire emphasized that the modern world incar-cerates the oppressor-oppressed relationship with the banking education model. The polarization made about by the oppressor-oppressed relationship brings people into a dialectical relationship, and the objectified human cannot participate in the reality of the world.Freire, like Buber, found the solution to this problem in the liberation of the oppressed and establishing a dialogic relationship with the oppressors. In this study, the idea that the dialectical relationship, which is the only way for modern people to constitute a real relationship, which is show parallelism within the thought of Freire and Buber, should be instead of the dialogic relationship is the approach.
