Travmatik el yaralanması geçiren hastalarda yaralanma sebebiyle gelişen ya da yaralanma sonrasında gözlenen ağrı durunu yaygın semptomlardan biridir. Travma hastalarında ağrı durumu kaçınılmaz bir problemdir. Kişi çoğu zaman ağrı ile nasıl baş edeceğini bilemez ve bu durum iyileşme sürecini olumsuz etkiler. Bunun yanında bu yaralanmaların sosyal ve psikolojik birçok sonucu mevcuttur. Kişi yaralanma sonrası rol kayıpları, işe geri dönüş problemleri, maddi sıkıntılar, duygu durum bozuklukları anksiyete ve kaçınma hali gibi sosyal uyumda birçok problem yaşar. Bu çalışmada, travmatik el yaralanması geçiren kişilerin yaralanma ciddiyetleri göz önünde bulundurularak bireylerde gözlenen ağrı durumunun ve yaralanma sonrası psikososyal durumun bireyin tedavisini nasıl etkilediği ile ilgili bilgiler paylaşılacaktır
