The main purpose of this study is to analyze the Justice March, which was carried out with the aim of shaping public opinion, through critical discourse analysis. The texts evaluated within the scope of the research were obtained in written document form from the official website of the Republican People's Party. The aim of the research is to reveal which issues the action organized to shape public opinion, brought to people's attention and who its target audience was. In this context, it has been observed that the march brought to the forefront criticisms of the State of Emergency (SoE) measures of the period and the Presidential Government System introduced by the 2017 referendum. Furthermore, it was observed that the main target audience of the march was the “No” bloc formed during the referendum process. It was determined that the political criticism of the government of the period was the target of the march. It was identified that a discourse framework indicating political, legal, and broadly social inequalities was constructed around the theme of “justice.” It has been observed that the slogan "Rights, Law, Justice" is used to cover these three areas. The State of Emergency measures were described as a “coup,” a “civil coup,” and the government as a “dictatorship,” while the participants of the march were referred to as “victims” and those “thirsty for justice.” It was determined that criticizing the political consequences of the state of emergency practices constituted the main target of the march.
