Baryum titanat kimyasal formülü ABO3 olan, rengi beyazdan griye değişen
perovskit ailesine bağlı inorganik bir bileşiktir. 60 yıldan daha fazla süredir
ilgi gören bir malzemedir. İlgi çekmesinin ilk nedeni kimyasal ve mekanik
olarak stabil olmasıdır. Geniş kapsamda çalışılan en önemli ferro elektrik
malzemelerden biridir. Elektromanyetik
dalgaların kullanımının gün geçtikçe artması başta insanlar olmak üzere tüm
canlıları etkilemektedir. Elektromanyetik kalkanlama uygulamalarıyla, radyasyon
kullanılarak yapılan uygulamaları aksatmadan canlıların maruz kalacağı
radyasyon dozunu minimize etmek ve onları korumak amaçlanmaktadır. Bu
çalışmada, elektromanyetik kalkanlama, tekstilde elektromanyetik kalkanlama
uygulamaları, baryum titanatın yapısı, özellikleri ve elektromanyetik
kalkanlama uygulamalarındaki yeri incelenmiştir.
Barium titanate is an inorganic compound which
has the chemical formula ABO3, changing color from white to gray,
depending on the perovskite family. It is a material that attracts attention
for more than 60 years. The first reason for attracting attention is that it is
chemically and mechanically stable. It is one of the most important ferro
electrical materials studied in large scale. Increasing use of electromagnetic waves is affecting all living things,
especially people. With electromagnetic shielding applications, it is aimed to
minimize and protect the dose of radiation to which living beings will be
exposed without interfering with radiation applications. In this study, electromagnetic shielding,
electromagnetic shielding applications in textile, structure and properties of
barium titanate and the use of barium titanate in electromagnetic shielding
applications have been investigated.

30.03.2021-Beginning with our April 2021 (26/1) issue, in accordance with the new criteria of TR-Dizin, the Declaration of Conflict of Interest and the Declaration of Author Contribution forms fulfilled and signed by all authors are required as well as the Copyright form during the initial submission of the manuscript. Furthermore two new sections, i.e. ‘Conflict of Interest’ and ‘Author Contribution’, should be added to the manuscript. Links of those forms that should be submitted with the initial manuscript can be found in our 'Author Guidelines' and 'Submission Procedure' pages. The manuscript template is also updated. For articles reviewed and accepted for publication in our 2021 and ongoing issues and for articles currently under review process, those forms should also be fulfilled, signed and uploaded to the system by authors.
