Journal of Distance Education Engineering is an international, electronic and peer-revewed journal for designing, producing and developing distance education technologies. The journal aims to publish articles to cause a surge in research across the globe on distance education theories and practices.
Moreover, the journal aims to enable the exploration of new methods through interdisciplinary group such as educationalists, psychologists, sociologies, game developers and engineers.
Apart from the more traditional technologies such as print, audio, video, computer and web, the journal focuses on the design, production and developing of new technologies provide opportunities for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
The journal is published as one volume per year with three issues in April, August and December. The journal is an open access and single-blind peer-reviewed journal. Articles submitted to our journal are requested to evaluate by three referees as long as suitable for the focus and content of our journal. Referees are given 30 days to evaluate the article. Two positive decisions are expected from the referees within 30 days. According to the positive decisions of the referees, the article is sent to the Advisory and Publication Board for publication.
