Beyin Tümörü Olan Hastalarda Semptom Yönetimine İlişkin Güncel Yaklaşımlar

Abstract

Primer ve sekonder beyin tümörlü hastalarda ilerleyen tedavi yöntemleri ile mortalite oranı azalmaktadır. Ancak hastaların büyük çoğunluğun cerrahi tedavi sonrası yaşam kalitesi azalmakta ve semptom yönetimine ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu nedenle beyin tümörlü hastaların tanı, tedavi ve bakım sürecine ilişkin rehberler oluşturulmuştur. Genel olarak bu rehberlerde; kafa içi basıncın takibi, derin ven trombozunun önlenmesi, nöbet takibi, bilişsel fonksiyonların yönetimi ile ilgili öneriler yer almaktadır. Beyin tümörlü hastalara bakım veren hemşireler yeterli bilgi düzeyine sahip olmalı ve verilen bakımın mevcut en iyi kanıtlara dayanmasını sağlamalıdır. Bu derlemede; beyin tümörü olan hastalarda semptom yönetimine ilişkin güncel yaklaşımlar sunulmuştur.
