Abstract

In this paper, the creation of a room schedule from an architectural model using one of the BIM platforms Autodesk Revit is examined. Basically, there are two methods to create a room schedule in Revit. In the first of these methods, all room finishes that are shown in the room schedule can be filled by hand. These finishes may be selected again from the drop-down menu for other rooms. Another method is based on a key schedule. Room styles are created based on room finishes in a key schedule- such as wet areas, storage, etc. Then, appropriate room styles are selected to fill in a room schedule. However, finishes of room bounding elements (walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, etc.) cannot be retrieved directly from a model in both of these methods. Writing room finishes independently from a model can cause errors. Additionally, changes of room finishes must be traced and corrected by personal efforts in these methods. The solution is using open-source visual programming software Dynamo to retrieve room finishes directly from a model and writing these finishes on a room schedule. Dynamo packages, such as Clockwork and archilab were also used in the developed Dynamo script. The developed Dynamo script was tested on models that were from simple to complex and the limits of the Dynamo script were identified. Then, Dynamo script was tested on a sample two-storey residential building. Thanks to the developed Dynamo script, room finishes were able to be written on room schedules in these tests.

Açık Kaynaklı Görsel Programlama Yazılımı Aracılığıyla YBM Platformunun Yeteneklerini Geliştirme: Doğrudan Modelden Alınan Mahal Bitirmeleriyle Mahal Listesinin Oluşturulması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, YBM platformlarından biri olan Autodesk Revit ile mimari modelden mahal listesi oluşturulması ele alınmaktadır. Autodesk Revit ile mahal listesi oluşturmada temel olarak iki yöntem kullanılmaktadır. Bu yöntemlerden ilkinde tüm bitirmeler mahal listesine elle yazılabilmektedir. Yazılan bitirmeler açılır listeden farklı mahaller için seçilebilmektedir. Diğer yöntem; anahtar tablo (key schedule) yöntemine dayanmaktadır. Islak hacimler, depolar gibi mahal tipleri mahal bitirmelerine göre oluşturulmaktadır. Ardından uygun mahal tipleri mahal listesinin doldurulması için seçilmektedir. Ancak her iki yöntemde de mahali çevreleyen elemanların bitirmeleri doğrudan modelden alınamamaktadır. Mahal bitirmelerinin modelden bağımsız yazılması hatalara sebep olabilmektedir. Ayrıca, mahal bitirmelerinde yapılan değişiklikler kişisel çabalarla takip edilmeli ve düzeltilmelidir. Çözüm, açık kaynaklı görsel programlama yazılımı olan Dynamo’nun kullanımıyla mahal bitirmelerinin doğrudan modelden elde edilmesi ve bu bitirmelerin mahal listesine yazılmasıdır. Bu amaçla oluşturulan Dynamo komut dizisinde Dynamo için geliştirilen paketler de (Clockwork ve archilab) kullanılmıştır. Geliştirilen Dynamo komut dizisi basitten karmaşığa doğru oluşturulan deneme modeli üzerinde sınanmış ve komut dizisinin çalışma sınırları ortaya konmuştur. Ardından, oluşturulan Dynamo komut dizisi iki katlı örnek konut yapısı üzerinde denenmiştir. Konut modelinde yapılan denemelerde mahal listesine mahal bitirmeleri yazılabilmiştir.
