Abstract

ÖZ
Görme engelli bireylerin, özellikle müzik eğitimine yönelik materyal eksiklikleri bilinen bir gerçektir. Bireyler, Braille alfabesi ile yazılmış kabartma nota yazılarının azlığını sıklıkla ifade etmekte ve bu anlamdaki boşluğun ısrarla doldurulması gerektiğini düşünmektedirler. Bu bağlamda Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Türk Musikisi Konservatuvarı gerek kurum gerekse kişiler bazında öncü çalışmalarda bulunmakta ve alandaki eksiklikleri gidermeye yönelik çabasıyla dikkati çekmektedir. Bu makale çalışması da Ege Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Koordinasyon Birimi tarafından desteklenen ve 2023 yılı Ekim ayında sonlandırılan “Görme Engelliler İçin 4 Makam 24 Etüt” başlıklı 23901 numaralı projenin ardından hazırlanmış ve elde edilen verilerin sunulmasıyla yapılandırılmıştır. Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Türk Musikisi Konservatuvarı öğretim üyesi Doç. Dr. Özgen Küçükgökçe tarafından, 2020 yılında eğitime yönelik hazırlanan ve öğrencilerin sözel deşifre becerisini artırmayı hedefleyen 4 Makam ve 24 etüt adlı bir kitap yayımlanmıştır. Geleneksel Türk Sanat Müziği’nde özellikle repertuvar dersi içerisinde sözel deşifre çalışmalarında yararlı olduğu gözlenen kitap, görme engelli bireylere de faydalı olması amacıyla GAP kapsamında projelendirilerek Braille Nota Yazısına çevrilmiş ve veriler, Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Türk Musikisi Konservatuvarı Resmi Web Sitesinde yayımlanmıştır. Görme engelli bireylerin sözel deşifre becerisini geliştirmeye yönelik herhangi bir çalışmanın daha önce gerçekleştirilmemiş olması, projeyi alanda önemli bir boşluğu doldurmaya yönelik bir niteliğe büründürmüştür. Verilerin internet sitesinde yayımlanmasından sonra, görme engelli on birey ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmeler sonucunda projenin, hedef kitlenin müzik eğitim kalitesine olan katkısı, proje ile ilgili görüşler ve daha sonrasında yapılabilecek benzeri çalışmalara dair öneriler elde edilmiş ve bu makale çalışmasında da yorumlanarak sunulmuştur.

Abstract

ABSTRACT
It is a known fact that visually impaired individuals lack materials, especially for music education. Individuals often express the scarcity of braille notation written in the Braille alphabet and think that this gap should be persistently filled. In this context, Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory carries out pioneering work both on the basis of institutions and individuals and attracts attention with its efforts to eliminate the deficiencies in the field. This article was prepared following the project number 23901 titled "4 Positions 24 Studies for the Visually Impaired", which was supported by the Ege University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit and terminated in October 2023, and was structured by presenting the data obtained. Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory faculty member Assoc. Dr. A book titled 4 Makam and 24 etudes, prepared for education and aiming to increase students' verbal deciphering skills, was published by Özgen Küçükgökçe in 2020. The book, which has been observed to be useful in verbal sight-reading studies in Traditional Turkish Classical Music, especially in the repertoire course, was projected within the scope of GAP and translated into Braille Notation in order to be useful for visually impaired individuals, and the data was published on the Official Website of the Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory. The fact that no study has been carried out before to improve the verbal decoding skills of visually impaired individuals has made the project an attempt to fill an important gap in the field. After the data was published on the website, interviews were held with ten visually impaired individuals. As a result of the interviews, the contribution of the project to the quality of music education of the target audience, opinions about the project and suggestions for similar studies that can be done later were obtained and presented with interpretation in this article.
