Introduction: Loneliness is predicted to cause offline dating abuse. Therefore, in this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between cyber dating abuse and loneliness in young people.Method: The descriptive study was conducted with 254 undergraduate students studying at a university in the 2021-2022 academic year between April 4-22, 2022. Data were collected with Personal Information Form, Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale and Cyber Dating Abuse Questionnaire. Data were presented as number, frequency, mean and standard deviation. Spearman correlation test was used to determine the correlation between scales.Results: The average score of Exposure to Violence on the Cyber Dating Abuse Questionnaire sub-dimension score of the students is 30.52 ± 12.08, and the mean of Violence sub-dimension score is 30.64 ± 12.10. Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale social loneliness sub-dimension score mean is 13.09 ± 6.33, emotional loneliness sub-dimension score mean is 16.91 ± 7.85, and family and romantic relationships loneliness sub-dimension score mean is 11.40 ± 6.39. Giriş: Yalnızlığın çevrimdışı flört istismarına neden olduğu öngörülmektedir. Bu yüzden çalışmada, gençlerde siber flört istismarı ile yalnızlık arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı türde olan çalışma 4-22 Nisan 2022 tarihleri arasında bir üniversitenin 2021-2022 öğretim yılında eğitim gören 254 lisans öğrencisi dahil edilerek yapılmıştır. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sosyal ve Duygusal Yalnızlık Ölçeği ve Siber Flört İstismarı Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma olarak sunulmuştur. Ölçekler arası korelasyonun tespitinde Spearman korelasyon testinden yararlanılmıştır.
