                                                                                                <abstract><p>Anlamlandırma sürecini interdisipliner bir yaklaşımla ele alan K. Weick, örgüt teorisi yazı-nında oldukça özgün bir konuma sahiptir. Buna karşın, Türkçe yazında, Weick’ın teorik ve kavramsal çerçevesi son derece sınırlı bir ilgiyle karşı karşıyadır. Weick’ın perspektifini konu edinen çalışmalar, sıklıkla, stratejik yönetim süreçlerini tartışmaya açmaktadır. Bununla bir-likte Weick’ın özgün kavrayışı, teorik ve uygulamaya dönük pek çok imkân sunmaktadır. Bu düzlemde Weick’ın değerlendirmelerine bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla yaklaşmak örgüt teorisi yazını için önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma, Weick’ın değerlendirmeleri doğrultusunda, an-lamlandırma sürecini odağa almaktadır. Çalışma, temelde, iki özgün katkıyı hedeflemektedir: Bunlardan ilki, anlamlandırma sürecini interdisipliner bir perspektifle ele almak; ikincisi ise, Weick’ın anlamlandırma perspektifini besleyen düşünce dünyasına ve tarihsel arka plana ışık tutmaktır. Çalışmada ilk olarak, Weick’ın yaklaşımı genel hatlarıyla tanıtılmakta ve tarihsel arka plana yer verilmektedir. Çalışmanın ilerleyen bölümlerinde ise, Weick’ın anlamlandırma perspektifini besleyen düşünceler ele alınmaktadır. Buradan hareketle bir bütün olarak anlam-landırma sürecinin bileşenleri, öznesi ve günlük yaşamla ilişkisi tartışılmaktadır.</p></abstract>
