BESİNLER VE BAZI BESİN ÖĞELERİNİN AKCİĞER KANSERİYLE İLİŞKİSİ

Öz

Besinler ve bazı besin öğeleri ile akciğer kanseri arasındaki
ilişki, içme suyundaki arseniğin karsinojen olarak net bir
biçimde belirtilmesinin dışında henüz açıklığa kavuşturulamamıştır. Mevcut literatürdeki çalışmalar ve konu hakkında
otorite kabul edilen kurumlar; sebze ve meyvelerle birlikte
karotenoidler, izoflavonlar, retinol ve C vitamini içeren
besinlerin akciğer kanseri oluşumunun önlenmesinde faydalı
olabileceğini belirtmiştir. Öte yandan kırmızı ya da işlenmiş
et tüketimi ile alkol alımının ise akciğer kanserine sebep
olabileceğine dair bazı çalışmalar da bulunmaktadır.

ASSOCIATION OF FOODS AND SOME NUTRIENTS WITH LUNG CANCER

Öz

The relationship between foods, some nutrients and lung
cancer has not been elucidated yet, except that the arsenic in
drinking water is clearly as carcinogen. Studies in the current literature and institutions considered to be authoritative
about cancer suggested that vegetables and fruits with carotenoids, isoflavones, retinol and vitamin C containing foods
may be useful in the prevention of lung cancer. On the other
hand, some studies indicated that consumption of red or
processed meat and alcohol intake may cause lung cancer.
