Öz
In this study, the possibility of cleaning Sirnak asphaltite by froth flotation was investigated. For this
purpose, laboratory tests were carried out in order to investigate the effects of grinding time, pulp
density, pH, collector amount, depressant amount, frother amount on the overall performance of the
flotation process. The best conditions determined were as follows: pulp density: 5 %, pH: 8, collector
amount: 0 g/t, depressant amount: 150 g/t and frother amount: 100 g/t.
As a result, applying flotation method to Sirnak asphaltite; a clean asphaltite assaying 32,95 % ash
with 76,61 % combustible yield was obtained.

Bu çalışmada, flotasyon yöntemi ile Sımak asfaltitlerinin külünün düşürülebilirle olasılığı araştırılmıştır.
Bu amaçla, öğütme süresinin, katı oranının, pH' nın, toplayıcı miktarının, bastırıcı miktarının ve
köpürtücü miktarının flotasyon üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. En iyi koşullar, katı oranı % 5, pH 8,
toplayıcı miktarı 0 g/t, bastına miktarı 150 g/t ve köpürtücü miktarı 100 g/t olarak belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç olarak, Şırnak asfaltitlerine flotasyon yönteminin uygulanması ile % 76,61 yanabilir verimle, %
32,95 kül içerikli temiz asfaltit elde edilmiştir.
