MORAL GUIDANCE IN THE QURAN AS THE BEOROCK OF LEGISLATION

It seems that the legislative principles of the Quran have a strong relationship with
moral principles of Islam. The Quran endeavors to mainta;n the humanistic ideals by
taking legislative steps, and also restrain man from non·humanistic acts by introducing
punitive rules. One is supposed to see the relationship between morality and law, not
just in different verses, but in the entire message of the Quran. This paper, therefore,
aims to display that the principles of the Quran that frames social life of man observe
moral values.
