Epidermal büyüme faktörü (EGF) hücre proliferasyonu ve hücre farklılaşmasında kritik bir rol oynayan </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">tirozin kinaz reseptör ailesinin üyelerinden biri olan </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">Epidermal büyüme faktör reseptörünün (EGFR) doğal ligandlarından </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">biri </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">si </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">dir. EGFR sinyal yolağında meydana gelen aksama veya düzensizliklerin bazı kanser tiplerinde etkili olduğu bildirilmiştir. </span> </span> <span style="font-family:’Times New Roman’;font-size:medium;"> Mevcut çalışmamızda mide kanseri ve epidermal büyüme faktör sinyal iletim yolağı moleküler mekanizmalarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Although the etiology of gastric cancer is not well-understood, nutritional, microbial, and genetic factors playing important roles and multifactorial process have been suggested. Epidermal growth factor (EGF) play important roles in several signaling pathways, leading to proliferation, differentiation, and it is </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">the natural ligand of </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) which </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">is the </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">member of </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">  </span> <span style="font-size:medium;">tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor family. EGF and epidermal growth factor receptor regulate important processes in tumorogenesis, including cell survival, cell cycle progression and irregulation in the this signaling pathway is frequently observed in some of the type of cancer. In present study we aim to investigate the molecular mechanism of gastric cancer and epidermal growth factor signal transduction pathway.
