It has been determined upon evaluation of the findings within scope of such surveythat 60_,8_ % _used insuljn pen, and the remaining 39,2% used insulin. i1~jector a~ themethod of mJect1011, and t9)lt those subjects, who used pen and had a trammg on d1abe.tes, were better equipped as to their acknowledgement regarding insulin .injection procedure. In conclusion, it has been considered that data regarding the porcedure for insulininjection of diabetic individuals insufficient/inadequate, and that parallel to such finding,training materials should be developed and the same made available to nurses andpatients as well as families thereof by means of periodic training programs.Key Words: Diabetes mellitus, Insulin injection method.
