AB  - Çalışmanın amacı başarılı yaşlanma ve travmatik yaşantılar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Korelasyon yöntemi kullanılarak kartopu örnekleme yöntemi ile 97 yaşlı (65 yaş ve üstü) bireye Google Forms aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Başarılı Yaşlanma Ölçeği, Geriatrik Depresyon Ölçeği Kısa Formu, Yaşam Olayları Kontrol Listesi Listesi-5 ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin SPSS ile analizinde tek yönlü varyans analizi, t-testi, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Analizi, demografik değişkenler için betimsel istatistik kullanılmıştır. 65-91 yaş aralığındaki örneklemin ortalama yaşı 71.4±5.9 iken %55.7’si kadın, %44.3’ü erkektir. Yaş, medeni durum, gelir seviyesi, algılanan sağlık durumu, fiziksel/kronik ve ruhsal rahatsızlığın varlığı başarılı yaşlanma ile ilişkili bulunmuştur (p
