Correlational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The universe of the research was a university in the Aegean Region. The sample of the research consists of 235 academicians. In the research, “Personal Information Form”, “Mobbing Scale for Academicians” developed by Ehi (2011), and Organizational Conflict Scale developed by Rahim (1983) were used as data collection tools. Frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, independent sample Mann Whitney U test and one-way analysis of variance Kruskall Wallis Analysis were used in the analysis phase of the data obtained in the research. Post-Hoc (Tamhane’s T2) statistics were used to find out from which groups the difference between the groups was in the findings. In order to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of the scales, Pearson Correlation analysis, which is also used in non-parametric tests, was performed. According to the research results, the highest average score of the mobbing levels of the academicians is followed by the attacks on social life after the attacks on the profession. The lowest average score was found in the dominating dimension. According to the gender variable, there is no significant relationship between the concepts of mobbing and organizational conflict. A significant difference was found between having a child and mobbing in terms of personal attacks. A relationship was found between the seniority variable and all sub-dimensions of mobbing. It has been observed that there are negative relationships between mobbing and organizational conflict concepts and sub-dimensions. Considering these results, it was seen that individuals avoided the organizational conflict environment as mobbing increased. For the correction of mobbing and organizational conflict environment, suggestions such as mentoring, in-service training, conducting the research at different universities, and developing new scales were presented.}, number={3}, publisher={Sabri SİDEKLİ}
