Characteristics that were measured were root fresh and dry weight, root moisture, shoot fresh and dry weight, shoot moisture, plant fresh and dry weight, plant moisture, cutting moisture, shoot length, node number and leaf number. Salt tolerance of the rootstocks was determined by tolerance rate and index values on the basis of shoot and root dry weights, and interpreted with plant viability. It was concluded that Amasya was the most re-sistant against salt, followed by Cardinal. The least resistance was observed on Italia and Yalova Incisi.}, number={40}, publisher={Selçuk Üniversitesi}
