AB  - Doğumsal bir anamoli olan dudak damak yarıkları, çevresel ve genetik gibi birçok faktörün sebep olmasıyla oluşur ve bireylerde çeşitli sorunlara yol açabilmektedir. Bunlar arasında konuşma güçlüğü, beslenme sorunları, estetik deformiteler ve psikososyal zorluklar yer alır. Tedavisi için multidisipliner bir yaklaşım gerekmektedir. Plastik cerrahlar, ortodontistler, kulak burun boğaz uzmanları, diş hekimleri ve konuşma terapistleri gibi uzmanlar arasında iş birliği yapılmalıdır.Bu olgu sunumunda fonksiyonel sıkıntılarını, estetik kaygılarına kıyasla göz ardı eden ve bu durumun psikolojisini etkilediğini belirten 35 yaşındaki kadın hastaya hem fonksiyonu geri kazandıracak hem de estetik olarak hastayı tatmin edecek bir protez planlaması yapılmıştır. Akrilikle desteklenen hibrit protezle hastanın hem dudak desteği sağlanmış hem de uygulanan implantlar sayesinde hareketli protez kullanmak zorunda kalmadan hastanın çiğneme ve konuşma ile sorunları giderilmiştir. İmplant destekli hibrit protezler, sabit protezler sınıflandırmasında yer alır. Günümüzde hem hastalar hem de diş hekimleri tarafından sıklıkla tercih edilmektedir.

N2  - Cleft lip and palate, a congenital anomaly, is caused by various factors including environmental and genetic influences, and it can lead to a range of issues for individuals. These may include difficulties in speech, feeding problems, aesthetic deformities, and psychosocial challenges. The treatment requires a multidisciplinary approach involving collaboration among professionals such as plastic surgeons, orthodontists, otolaryngologists, dentists, and speech therapists.In this case presentation, a 35-year-old female patient who expressed concerns about functional difficulties being overshadowed by aesthetic worries has been provided with a prosthetic treatment plan that aims to restore both function and aesthetic. An acrylic-supported hybrid prosthesis has been planned to provide lip support and address the patient's chewing and speech issues. Implant-supported hybrid prostheses, classified as fixed prosthetics, have become a preferred choice by both patients and dental professionals due to their successful outcomes.
