N2  - In this review, recent information regarding to ruminal tympania which frequently occurs in domestic ruminants (mostly in cattle and sheep, rarely in goats), causes deaths due to asphexy, has economical importance because of mandatory slaugters, treatments expenses for sick animals, production loses in living animals and after sickness; clinical forms, etiology, pathogenesis, sypmtoms, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and protection of ruminal tympania were given.
