Örneklem büyüklüğünü belirlemek amacıyla güç analizi yapıldı ve katılımcı hasta sayısı 156 olarak belirlendi. 18 yaş ve üzerinde olan, araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan, psikiyatrik bir hastalık tanısı olmayan, obezite ameliyatını geçireli en az 1 yıl olan bireyler araştırmaya dahil edildi.
