AB  - Sinema, içinde bulunmuş olduğu dönemin toplumsal yapısı hakkında ‘temsil’ niteliği taşımakta, toplumu değiştirebilmekte ve aynı zamanda bu değişim sürecinden etkilenmektedir. Türk toplumunda gerçekleşmiş olan değişim ve dönüşüm sürecini anlamak ve bu bağlamda ‘sınıfsal yapıyı’ analiz edebilmek için sinema filmleri önem arz etmektedir. Sınıf kavramı toplum hakkında düşünmek, toplumu analiz etmek için önemli bir kavramdır. Kavramı ilk teorize eden düşünür Karl Marx toplumu ‘burjuva’ yani sermaye sahibi sınıf ve ‘proleterya’ yani işçi sınıfı olmak üzere iki ayırmıştır. Marx’ın sınıfları ikiye ayırmasındaki temel etken ‘ekonomik’tir. Kişiler ekonomik sermayeye sahip olma durumlarına göre üst ya da alt sınıflarda yer alırlar. Marx’tan sonra gelen Weber ise Marx’ın ekonomik temelli sınıf ayrım anlayışını devam ettirmiştir. Kapitalizmin gelişmesi ile uzmanlık gerektiren meslek gruplarının çıkmasından sonra ‘orta sınıf’ ve ‘statü’ gibi kavramları geliştiren Weber, sınıf kavramını ileriye taşımıştır. Kendinden önce gelen bu iki düşünürün fikirlerinde etkilenen Pierre Bourdieu, toplum içindeki sınıfları ekonomik sermaye temeline dayandırmamıştır. Kapitalist toplumlarda ekonomik sermayeye sahip olmak önemli bir etken iken sadece bu sermaye kendi başına yeterli değildir. Bourdieu’nün ‘yapısalcı’ düşünürlerden ayrıldığı bu nokta onun sınıf anlayışını oluşturmaktadır. Toplum içindeki bireyleri, belirli bir yapı içinde bulunan ve o yapıya uygun hareket eden ikincil nesneler olarak görmekten çok yapı ile karşılıklı etkileşimde bulunabilen birincil özneler olarak görmektedir. Bireyler, bulundukları toplumun içerisinde ellerinde bulundurdukları ‘sermaye’ türlerine göre çeşitli ‘alan’larda mücadele verirler. Bu mücadele sonucunda deneyim kazanılar ve ‘habitus’ları şekillenir. Ayrıca bu üç kavramın birbiri üzerinde dönüştürücü etkisi vardır. Bu kavramlar, analiz edilen Toz Bezi filmi aracılığı ile filmin geçtiği dönem Türkiye’sindeki sınıfsal yapıyı ekonomik sermaye değişkeni dışında analiz etmeye olanak sağlamaktadır.

N2  - Cinema can change the width at the edge of representation regarding the social structure during a period of tension and can at the same time be affected by this process of change. Movies are important for understanding the change and transformation that have taken place in Turkish society and for analyzing its class structure in this context. Thinking about the concept of class society is important for analyzing society. Karl Marx, the philosopher who first theorized the concept, divided society into two parts: the bourgeois (i.e. the capitalist class) and the proletariat (i.e. the working class). The main factor separating Marx’s classes is economics. People are in the upper or lower class based on their economic capital. Weber came after Marx and continued his economics-based class understanding. Weber developed concepts such as the middle class and status following the emergence of occupational groups that should have emerged with the developments brought by capitalism and carried the concept of class from beginning to end. Pierre Bourdieu was influenced by the ideas of these two who preceded him but did not base the inner classes of society on economic capital. While having economic capital is an important factor in capitalist societies, this capital alone is not enough. Principles from Bourdieu’s structuralist thoughts form his understanding of this class of points. He perceived the individuals in society as primary subjects that can interact with - the structure rather than examining them as being contained within a certain structure and acting in accordance with those structures. Individuals struggle in various fields according to the types of capital they have in the society in which they live. As a result of this struggle, experiences are gained that shape their habitus. In addition, these three concepts of field, capital, and habitus have a transformative effect on one another. These concepts enable the class structure in Turkey to be analyzed outside the variable of economic capital by analyzing the film Toz Bezi (Dust Cloth,, Ahu Öztürk, 2015)..
