KW - Multipl skleroz KW - Google trendler KW - Nöroloji N2 - In this infodemiological study, the data obtained from the national (Turkey) searches conducted with the term "multiple sclerosis" between August 2018 and August 2023 using the Google Trends platform were analyzed. The data were classified according to related inquiries, time and location. In the searches, it was determined that multiple sclerosis and the terms multiple and sclerosis were tried to be understood separately, and then the disease, its symptoms and treatment were questioned. In addition, it has been determined that users who search for these terms also search for other neurological diseases such as parkinson, alzheimer, and epilepsy. It has been observed that the search trend by years is irregular, the search volume increased in 2020, which coincides with the pandemic period, and the peak in search volume was in the autumn season. It has been determined that the most popular city for the related search term is Isparta. This study reflects representative indicators of public awareness of multiple sclerosis. As a result, it has been revealed that it is not known what multiple sclerosis is and many aspects of it, from its definition to its treatment, are wondered. In addition to the importance of presenting reliable information, it has been seen that there is a need to inform large masses about multiple sclerosis. CR - 1. Mavragani, A and Ochoa, G.
