In this study were used data which obtained the Kayseri alfalfa ecotype with in ‘’Alfalfa breeding research’’ p roject. Plant height, stem thickness, the number of stem, the number of cutting, the number of days between cutting, habitus, dormancy, leaf weight and early spring growth conditions were determined in the Kayseri alfalfa. According to the results obtained from this study; the average of plant height 67.6 cm, stem thickness 3.7 mm, the number of stems 50.4 items, the number of days between cutting 33.5 days and the number of cutting 2.5 items were measured in the Kayseri Alfalfa ecotyp e . The K ayseri alfalfa ecotypewere determined upright growth habit, dormant type, medium - sized leaf massiveness and the rapid development of early spring.
