AB  - Amaç: Bu çalışma, farklı afet tiplerinin meydana geldiği Mersin İli Mut İlçesinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin acil durum/afete bireysel hazırlık düzeylerinin ve ilişkili faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.Yöntem: Çalışma kesitsel tipte bir araştırmadır. Veriler toplanmadan katılımcılara yazılı ve sözlü bilgilendirme yapılmış ve bilgilendirilmiş onam alınmıştır. Araştırma verileri 02.11.2022-31.01.2023 tarihleri arasında yüz yüze toplanmıştır. Veriler, veri kayıt formu ve Afete Bireysel Hazırlık Ölçeği (ABHÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizi SPSS 22.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmaya 706 öğretmen katılmıştır. Katılımcıların %38,8’i meslek hayatında acil durum/afet yaşamış olup, bunların %85,8’i deprem yaşadığını belirtmiştir. ABHÖ toplam puanı, algılanan duyarlılık ve algılanan engeller alt boyutu puanı 18-27 yaş grubunda olanlarda daha yüksektir (p

N2  - Objective: This study was carried out to determine the individual emergency/disaster preparedness levels and related factors of teachers working in Mut District of Mersin Province, where different types of disasters occur.Metod: The study is a cross-sectional study. Participants were informed verbally and in writing before data collection and informed consent was obtained. The research data were collected face-to-face between 02.11.2022 and 31.01.2023. Data were collected with a data recording form and Disaster Individual Preparedness Scale (ABHÖ). The research data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 statistical package program. Results: 706 teachers participated in the research. 38.8% of the participants have experienced an emergency/disaster in their professional life, and 85.8% of them stated that they experienced an earthquake.
