AB  - Bu eserde; Türkiye’nin yakın tarihine bakıldığında 1990’lı yıllara kadar laik seküler egemen güçlerce çepere itilmiş olan muhafazakâr kesimin son dönemlerde değişen güç dengeleri sonucunda çeperden merkeze doğru ilerleyen habitus dönüşümü ele alınmıştır. Ülkemizin en büyük metropolü olan İstanbul’da bulunan Fatih ve Başakşehir semtleri, muhafazakârların habitus dönüşümü için seçilen bir habitat örneğidir. Eserde sosyolojik olarak yaşanan bu dönüşüm, Weber’in “sosyal kapanma” ve Bourdieu’nun “habitus dönüşümü” ve Frank Parkin’in perspektifiyle ele aldığı   “kapanma” görüşleri ışığında ele alınmıştır. 1950 sonrası yaşanan göçler sonucunda kent merkezlerinde yaşanan dayanışmacı kapanma pratikleri derinlemesine yapılan görüşmeler ve gözlemlerle analiz edilerek desteklenmiştir. Nitel yöntemler kullanılarak karşılaştırmalı bir saha araştırmasına yer verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak habitus dönüşümünün en belirgin göstergesi olan dışlayıcı kapanmanın sınıfsal ve kültürel düzeyde artan bir ivmeye sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

N2  - This work examines the habitus transformation of the conservative sector, which was pushed to the periphery by the secular dominant forces until the 1990s, from the periphery to the center as a result of the changing balance of power in Turkey's recent history. Fatih and Başakşehir districts in Istanbul, the largest metropolis of our country, is an example of a habitat chosen for the habitus transformation of conservatives. This sociological transformation is discussed in the light of Weber's “social closure” and Bourdieu's “habitus transformation” and Frank Parkin's perspective of “closure”. After 1950, solidaristic closure practices experienced in urban centers as a result of migration were analyzed and supported by in-depth interviews and observations. A comparative field research was conducted using qualitative methods. As a result, it has been determined that exclusionary closure, which is the most prominent indicator of habitus transformation, has an increasing momentum at the class and cultural level.
