Veriler yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle, “Tanıtıcı Özellikler ve Kripto Paranın Günlük Yaşama Etkilerine İlişkin Soru Formu”, “Pittsburgh Uyku Kalite İndeksi Ölçeği” ve “Beck Depresyon Ölçeği” uygulanarak toplanmış olup, yüzdelikler, ortalamalar ve bağımsız gruplarda t test kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.Bulgular: Kripto para ticaretinin erkek öğretmenlerin günlük hayatını olumsuz etkilediği, bireylerin stres düzeyini artırdığı, uyku problemlerinde ve depresif yakınmalarda artışa neden olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Katılımcılar için kripto para piyasasının tek avantajının ekonomik okuryazarlığı artırması olarak ifade edilmiştir. Sonuç: Çalışma bulgularına göre sağlığı olumsuz yönde etkileyen kripto para ticaretinin diğer bağımlılık türleri gibi tarama ve değerlendirme protokollerine dahil edilme gereksinimini olup olmadığını anlamak için, çalışmanın çok kültürlü büyük gruplarda tekrarlanması önerilmektedir. Design and Method: This study, which was planned as a comparative cross-sectional study based on the personal survey method, consisted of data collected from 150 teachers between March and April 2022. The data obtained by face-to-face interview. During the interview, “A Questionnaire on Descriptive Features and Effects of Cryptocurrency on Daily Life”, “Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index” and “Beck Depression Scale” were applied to the participants of this study. Percentages, means and independent groups were analysed using t test. Findings: It was observed that cryptocurrency trading affected negatively the daily-life of male teachers, increased the stress level of individuals, caused an increase in sleep problems and depressive complaints. The only advantage of the cryptocurrency market for the participants was to increase their economic literacy. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, it affects individual health negatively. It is recommended that the study be replicated in large multicultural groups to understand whether cryptocurrency trading needs to be included in screening and assessment protocols like other.
