It is an edited volume composed of the extended versions of the selected papers with some contributions also from authors who did not participate in the conference. The first part of the book’s title, Istanbul-Kushta-Constantinople is emblematic of the aims and the content of the book as being three names used by Muslims, Jews, and Christians respectively.
