AB  - Salgınlar toplumsal hayatın her veçhesine etki ederek büyük bir yıkıma sebep olmaktadır. Sağlık sistemi başta olmak üzere toplumsal kurumların neredeyse hepsini çökertme noktasına getirmektedir. Bu sebeple salgının toplumsal tarafına bakmak ve olayın sosyolojik değerlendirmesini yapmak önem arz etmektedir. Özellikle tarihsel süreçte gerçekleşen veba, çiçek, İspanyol gribi ve Covid 19 gibi salgınları toplumsal etkileri yönünden değerlendirmek salgınların ciddiyetini anlama adına önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma hem salgın sosyolojisinin kavramsal açıklamasını yapmayı hem de salgınların toplumsal boyutlarını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.

N2  - Pandemics cause a great destruction by affecting every part of social life. It brings almost all social institutions, especially the health system, to the point of collapse. For this reason, it is important to look at the social side of the pandemic and to make a sociological evaluation of the event. It is especially important to evaluate pandemics such as plague, smallpox, Spanish flu and Covid 19 in terms of their social effects in order to understand the seriousness of pandemics. This study aims both to make a conceptual explanation of the sociology of pandemic and to reveal the social dimensions of pandemics.
