AB  - Amaç: İnsanoğlunun sağlık arayışı her alanında aktif ve artan bir şekilde devam etmektedir. Bu arayış alanlarında biri de maneviyattır. Manevi bakım terminal dönem ölümcül hastalıklara yakalanan bireylere yönelik olarak sağlık hizmetleri kapsamında da sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışma Ankara’nın merkez bir ilçesinde camilerde çalışan din görevlilerinin aracılığı ile sağlık arayışlarında maneviyatın rolünün araştırılması hedeflenmektedir.Gereç ve Yöntem: Fenomolojik nitel çalışma, Ankara’nın merkez bir ilçesinde camilerde çalışan ve araştırılan konu ile ilgili tecrübesi olan 14 din görevlisinin katılımıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma sekiz sorudan oluşan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırma kapsamındaki din görevlilerinin neredeyse tamamına yakını (13/14) maneviyatın sağlık sorunlarının çözümünde etkili olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Maneviyatın özellikle psikolojik faydalarının yanında, dolaylı olarak fiziksel olumlu etkilerinin olabileceğini ortaya koymuşlardır. Araştırma kapsamındaki din görevlileri hastaların sağlık sorunlarında manevi çözüm arayışlarına rehberlik ve eğitim kapsamında destek sundukları görülmektedir. Din görevlilerinin tamamına yakını (13/14) bu kapsamda halk eğitiminde aktif rol oynadıklarını ifade etmişlerdir.Sonuç: Bireylerin özellikle psikolojik sonuçları olan ölümcül hastalıklarında manevi çözüm arayışına girdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Manevi bakımın sağlık kurumlarına daha profesyonel entegrasyonunun sağlık yönetici ve profesyonelleri tarafından ele alınması önerilmektedir.

N2  - Purpose: Humankind's search for health continues actively and increasingly in all areas. One of these areas is spirituality. Spiritual care is also frequently used within health services for individuals with terminal and fatal diseases. This study aims to investigate the role of spirituality in health pursuits through religious officials working in mosques in a central district of Ankara.Materials and Methods: The phenomenological qualitative study was conducted on 14 religious officials with experience in the research subject and working in mosques in a central district of Ankara. A semi-structured interview with eight questions was used in the research.Findings: Almost all religious officials (13/14) within the research stated that spirituality is effective in solving health problems. They revealed that spirituality and psychological benefits may have indirect physical positive effects. The religious officials within the research support the patients in their spiritual search for their health problems through guidance and education. Almost all religious officials (13/14) stated they played an active role in public education in this context.Conclusion: It has been concluded that individuals seek spiritual solutions, especially for fatal diseases that have psychological consequences. It is recommended that health managers and professionals address the more professional integration of spiritual care into health institutions.
