A survey form consisting of two parts, evaluating sociodemographic characteristics and SWOT categories, was used as a data collection tool in the study. Nurses who agreed to participate in the research and whose written permission/verbal consent was obtained were asked to fill out the questionnaire in the nurse's room, accompanied by the researcher, under the conditions permitted by the institution, taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic process and infection rules. The dataset was evaluated with the SPSS program.Results: In the research, when the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on nursing was evaluated according to SWOT analysis, 34% of the nurses had professional factors under the strengths category (21.7%); 81.7% had psychological factors under the weakness category (59%); It was determined that 29.3% identified occupational factors (19.3%) under the opportunity category and 79% identified occupational factors (64%) under the threat category (p KW - COVID-19 KW - nursing KW - SWOT analyse. N2 - ÖzAmaç: Araştırma, COVID-19 salgınının hemşirelik üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek amacıyla SWOT analizi yöntemi kullanılarak tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır.Gereç ve yöntem: Araştırma, Türkiye'de bir şehir hastanesinin COVID yoğun bakım üniteleri ve kliniklerinde çalışan 300 gönüllü ile tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak tanıtıcı özellikler ve SWOT kategorilerinin değerlendirildiği iki bölümden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden ve yazılı izni/sözlü onamları alınan hemşirelerden, kurumun izin verdiği şartlarda, COVID-19 salgını süreci ve enfeksiyon kuralları dikkate alınarak anket formunu hemşire odasında araştırmacı eşliğinde doldurmaları istenmiştir.
