The purpose of this study is to examine the evaluations and experiences of parents who participated in the Positive Discipline parenting program. The participants of the study consist of 12 mothers and three fathers (n = 15) whose children are attending primary school. Participants attended a seven-week education program, including one follow-up session, conducted face-to-face in a closed group format. A case study design, a qualitative research method, was used in the study. Data were collected through training evaluation and program evaluation forms developed by the researchers during the final session and follow-up session and analyzed using content analysis method. As a result of content analysis, four themes were identified, named as Contributions of the Program, Frequently Used Parenting Tools, Group Experience, and Recommendations. According to the findings, Positive Discipline increased parents' awareness of their own and their children's emotions and behaviors, encouraged empathetic responses, and strengthened their relationships with their children and others in their social life. It was observed that parents used the parenting knowledge, skills, and tools they acquired in the program during and after the program, thereby ensuring the continuity of positive changes. The study revealed that the program conducted in group format positively changed parents' behaviors and attitudes through the healing factors of the group. In addition, parents' recommendations for future trainings were identified. All findings were discussed in the context of the literature on parenting programs based on the Adlerian approach and the Positive Discipline parenting program. CR - Adler, A. (1954).
