In the 1990s, with the Internet becoming public and commercially available; Websites and digital content began to spread, and content began to be published in digital media as an alternative to print publishing. This has created a need to protect intellectual property, help copyright owners maintain control of works, and enable digital publishers to manage content and revenue streams.Digital Rights Management (DRM) is the use of technology to control and manage access to copyrighted material. DRM is used in a variety of digital content, from entertainment media such as books, music and videos to database subscriptions and software programs. Rapid change in technology may serve to improve the current problems of DRM systems, and blockchain technology in particular has great potential in this regard. The article examines DRM systems technology and current solutions on this subject from the perspective of the publishing industry, based on academic literature. CR - Ahmad, J. A., & Dirgahayu, T.
