For induction of anesthesia, 2.5 mg/kg propofol was administered as a bolus in both groups, 2.5 mcg/kg fentanyl in Group F and 2-4 mcg/kg i.v. remifentanil in Group R. No muscle relaxant agent was used. The laryngeal mask size was selected according to the patient’s body weight.
