AB  - Toplumlarda eğitim seviyesinin yüksekliğinin bireyin içinde bulunduğu topluma fayda sağladığı görüşü hakimdir. İleri eğitimli bireylerin topluma ve dolayısıyla ülkenin büyümesine katkısının yüksek olması beklenmektedir. Ancak bu katkının olabilmesinde ülkenin sosyal, kültürel, politik ve sağlık boyutlarının da etkisi yüksektir. Dolayısıyla eğitim ve büyüme birbirini karşılıklı etkilemektedir. Farklı eğitim seviyelerine göre istihdamda bulunamayan bireyler ise bu ilişkinin etkisini azaltmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı temel, orta ve ileri eğitimli işsizliğin doğumda beklenen yaşam süresi ve bebek ölüm oranları üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Orta ve yüksek gelirli farklı ülkelere uygulanan çalışmanın sonucunda orta ve yüksek gelirli ülkelerde doğumda beklenen yaşam süresine ileri eğitimli işsizliğin etkisi pozitif; temel ve orta eğitimli işsizliğin etkisi ise negatif çıkmıştır. Bebek ölüm oranlarına etkisi ise orta gelirli ülkelerde temel ve ileri işsizlik; yüksek gelirli ülkelerde ise temel ve orta gelirli işsizliğin etkisinin pozitif olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

N2  - In societies, the prevailing opinion is that a high level of education benefits the society in which the individual lives. It is expected that highly educated individuals will make a high contribution to society and therefore to the growth of the country. However, the country's social, cultural, political and health dimensions also have a high impact on this contribution. Therefore, education and growth mutually affect each other. Individuals who cannot find employment based on different education levels reduce the impact of this relationship. The aim of the study is to examine the effect of basic, secondary and advanced education unemployment on life expectancy at birth and infant mortality rates. As a result of the study applied to different middle and high income countries, the effect of unemployment with advanced education on life expectancy at birth in middle and high income countries is positive; The effect of unemployment with basic and secondary education was negative. Its impact on infant mortality rates is basic and advanced unemployment in middle-income countries; In high-income countries, the effect of basic and middle-income unemployment has been found to be positive.
