AB  - Göçler, gerek doğal gerekse de insanoğlunun neden olduğu sebeplerle gerçekleşmektedir ve son yıllarda küresel anlamda problem olarak görülmeye başlamıştır. Avrupa ve Asya’yı birbirine bağlayan bir noktada bulunması ve son zamanlarda komşu ülkelerinde yaşanan çatışmalar nedeniyle Türkiye bu göç dalgasından en fazla etkilenen ülkelerden birisi olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de yaşayan mültecilerin göç etmelerinin ekonomik sebepleri ve sonuçları konusunda inceleme gerçekleştirilmektedir. 1991-2022 yılları arasında Türkiye’ye gelen mülteciler, genç işsizlik oranı, enflasyon ve asgari ücret değişkenleri kullanılarak, yapısal kırılmalı birim kök ve eşbütünleşme testleri yapılmıştır. Daha sonra da Toda-Yamamoto nedensellik analizi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, genç işsizlik oranından enflasyona doğru tek yönlü, diğer değişkenler arasında ise çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir.

N2  - Migrations occur due to both natural and human-induced reasons, and in recent years they have begun to be seen as a global problem. Turkey has been one of the countries most affected by this wave of migration due to its location at a point connecting Europe and Asia and the recent conflicts in its neighboring countries. In this study, an examination is carried out on the economic reasons and consequences of the migration of refugees living in Turkey. Structural break unit root and cointegration tests were conducted using variables such as refugees coming to Turkey between 1991 and 2022, youth unemployment rate, inflation and minimum wage. Then, Toda-Yamamoto causality analysis was applied. According to the analysis results, a unidirectional causality relationship was detected from the youth unemployment rate to inflation, and a bidirectional causality relationship was found between other variables.
