AB  - Sanatçı John Sabraw bir aktivist ve çevrecidir. Çizimlerini ve disiplinler arası çalışmalarını çevreyeduyarlı bir şekilde üreten Sabraw, tamamen ekolojik olarak sürdürülebilir bir uygulama için çalışmakta ve eserler üretmektedir. Sabraw doğanın kirlenmesi engellemek için bir simyacı gibi çalışmışsadece sanatının düşünsel yönünü oluşturmakla kalmamış kullandığı sanat malzemesini de ekolojik bağlamda üretmiştir. Birçok projede bilim insanlarıyla iş birliği yapmış ve en kayda değer işbirliklerinden biri ise kirli nehirlerin iyileştirilmesi sürecinde çıkarılan demir oksitten boya üretmekve üretilen boyalarla ekoloji kavramı odaklı resimler yapmaktır. Sabraw’ın sanat anlayışı ve pigmentitemin etme süreçleriyle ilgili döküman analizi yöntemi izlenmiş, sanatçının üretmiş olduğu olduğuçalışmalar da içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilim sanat iş birliğiyaparak ekolojik anlamda sürdürülebilir çözüm yolları arayan sanatçının düşünsel yönünü, ekolojiodaklı malzeme üretim süreçlerini ve bu süreçleri sanata dönüştüren metodolojisini eserleri üzerinden göstererek açıklamak ve anlamlandırmaya çalışmaktır.

N2  - Artist John Sabraw is an activist and environmentalist. Producing his drawings and interdisciplinaryworks in an environmentally friendly manner, Sabraw works for a completely ecologically sustainablepractice and produces works. Sabraw worked like an alchemist to prevent the pollution of nature,not only creating the intellectual aspect of his art, but also producing the art materials he used inan ecological context. He has collaborated with scientists in many projects, and one of his most notable collaborations is producing paint from iron oxide extracted during the treatment of pollutedrivers and making paintings focused on the concept of ecology with the produced paints. Documentanalysis method was followed regarding Sabraw's artistic understanding and pigment procurementprocesses, and the works produced by the artist were evaluated with the content analysis method.The aim of this study is to explain and try to make sense of the intellectual side of the artist, who seeksecologically sustainable solutions by collaborating between science and art, his ecology-orientedmaterial production processes and his methodology that transforms these processes into art, byshowing through his works.
