AB  - Davranış bilimleri alanındaki araştırmacılar, çalışanların etik dışı davranışlarının nedenlerini açıklamak için çeşitli teoriler geliştirmiştir. Bu teorilerden biri ahlaki çözülmedir ve Bandura tarafından kavramsallaştırılmıştır. Bu derlemede, günümüzde örgütler için önemli olan ahlaki çözülme kavramının hemşirelik alanındaki önemine dikkat çekmek amaçlanmıştır. Ahlaki çözülme; kişilerin etik olmayan davranışlarının sebep olduğu zararları mantığa uygun hale getirme yönündeki bilişsel eğilimdir. Sosyal-bilişsel bir süreç olarak ahlaki çözülme bireylerin yanlış davranışlarını düşünce düzeyinde mantıklı bulmalarına ve yavaş yavaş kendi ahlaki kod ve standartlarından uzaklaşmalarına neden olmaktadır. Ahlaki çözülme birçok etik dışı davranışa sebep olur ve bunun sonucunda örgüte ve kişilere ciddi zararlar verir. Hemşirelerde ahlaki çözülmeye ve etik standartlara bağlılığın azalmasına yol açabilecek farklı nedenler çeşitli araştırmalarla belirlenmiştir. Bu nedenler arasında yetersiz hemşire sayısı, ağır iş yükü, düşük hemşirelik maaşları, uygun olmayan iş bölümü, yeterli kontrol ve denetimin olmaması, hastalarla daha önce karşılaşılan olumsuz deneyimler, etik konulara yeterince hassasiyet gösterilmemesi ve hasta yakınlarının sürece aşırı müdahil olmaları yer almaktadır. Sonuç olarak, hemşirelikte ahlaki çözülmenin önlenmesi ve etik standartların korunması, yalnızca hemşirelik açısından değil, aynı zamanda sağlık kurumlarının ve hastaların güvenliği ve sağlığı açısından kritik öneme sahiptir.

N2  - Researchers in the field of behavioural sciences have developed various theories to explain the reasons behind employees' unethical behaviours. One of these theories is moral disengagement, conceptualized by Bandura. This review aims to highlight the importance of the concept of moral disengagement, which is significant for organizations today, in the field of nursing. Moral disengagement is the cognitive tendency to rationalize the harm caused by unethical behaviours. As a socio-cognitive process, moral disengagement leads individuals to find their wrongful actions rational at a cognitive level, gradually distancing themselves from their moral codes and standards. It leads to various unethical behaviours, resulting in serious harm to both organizations and individuals. Various studies have identified different reasons that may lead to moral disengagement and a decrease in adherence to ethical standards among nurses. These reasons include inadequate nurse staffing, heavy workloads, low nursing salaries, improper division of labour, lack of sufficient control and supervision, previous negative experiences with patients, insufficient sensitivity to ethical issues, and excessive involvement of patient relatives in the process. In conclusion, preventing moral disengagement in nursing and maintaining ethical standards are critical not only for nursing but also for the safety and health of healthcare institutions and patients.
